A House Divided

Jac: The political spirit is real. And it takes a toll on people.

I hate seeing the increasing polarity between the sides and what it does to people. It destroys relationships when people aren’t careful to be humble enough to respect each other’s views.

People act like their political party is the ONE and ONLY TRUE political party—as if politics were religion. And I suppose it is to some, but I find very little truth—if any—in politics.

I feel angry when I see each side dishonestly doing everything in their power to make the opposing candidate look evil and incompetent, but to make their own candidate look intelligent and good.

I feel angry that people won’t open their eyes to see the corruption that surrounds them on every side!

I feel angry that many people can’t see it’s all created to cause division. So they hold fast to whichever silo of information is being fed to them. It’s consumer capitalism at it’s finest.

If a house divided against itself cannot stand, how is our country supposed to survive and thrive when the people and the parties won’t unite!?

Many people choose to continue the work of division in their own communities and families, because they want to prove they are right at all costs!

And that's why I generally stay far, far away from politics. But every now and then I hear of a situation that hits close to home.

Jeri: It really is difficult to find God’s Truth in politics and media. Sadly, it can be too easy to get caught up in all of it and express anger in unhealthy and/or hurtful ways.

We really have to pray and seek discernment, and to do our best to just keep turning back to the Lord.

Jac: Well said. And I don’t want to hold onto anger. I’m ready to let it all go and feel more peace in my life.

If you have been angry about what you’re seeing happening in any area of your life, see the dose of enlightenment below!

And if the political spirit is alive and well in your life, you can cast it out in the name of Jesus Christ.

Love from Jeri and Jac

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!

This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.

If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.

*******************************************************

Today’s emotion is: angry at what you see

How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how angry at what you see applies to you.

Dose of Enlightenment: 154 + 846 = E

Say it out loud with intent: “one-fifty-four plus eight-forty-six equals enlightenment.”

Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
