Ben always felt lonely being with Meredith (names have been changed). There was never a real connection. He was only a means to an escape so that she could leave her boyfriend.
He was just being used until her next best fling came along. He was never really what she wanted. To her, he was disposable.
In his heart he knew… he sensed it somehow. He needed to protect himself. Life was so stressful being married to her. He just wanted to do the right thing by Meredith, to help her and keep her safe. He loved her. His love was not returned.
That is when Ben’s health issues began. He believed he deserved it… he believed that life was meant to be hard. In many ways, his existence became even more difficult after their divorce.
Sadly, Ben didn’t understand that he was creating his life through his belief system. He soon developed habits that led to repeating patterns and subconscious programing—which sent him on a spiraling course of self-punishment and choices that made things harder.
It has been said that life is what you make of it… you know… if life gives you lemons, make lemonade! It is all about choice.
You are the creator of your existence. What you choose and how you choose to react to situations can make or break you. If you believe that life should be tough… it will be tough. If you believe that it is meant to give you experience in order for you to learn and grow—it will be much easier to navigate.
It is all about becoming… learning, stretching, growing, developing and emerging into the person you are meant to be. It is about finding joy… even when things are hard.
If you are trapped in the false belief that life is meant to be tough, I challenge you to change your view and create something different.
Partner with God and meditate on how your life could be different. It’s okay to dream… it’s even okay to dream BIG. Write them down, then pray and ask Heavenly Father for something better. Be specific. He wants to bless you.
Say the dose of enlightenment to help you get started.
With love,
Jeri

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotion is: belief that life should be tough
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how belief that life should be tough applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 42 + 958 = E
Say it out loud with intent: "forty-two plus nine-fifty-eight equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
