As human beings, we tend to get caught up in thinking that the world revolves around us—even though most of us don’t think we think like that. But we do!
Why? Because we all have an EGO. It’s part of that natural man (or woman) that we are meant to learn to overcome to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.
When your perception causes you to hyper-focus on what’s right in front of you—your own, thoughts, your own feelings, your own emotions… you easily miss the big picture.
Perhaps you think that what she said was a direct attack, and that she was most definitely trying to hurt or offend you. Chances are… you are wrong.
Perhaps you think that God doesn’t love you because He didn’t give you what you thought you needed in the moment that you asked for it. Chances are… you are wrong.
Perhaps you think that you are perceiving that guy’s intentions correctly, because you have spiritual gifts… so perhaps you think that gives you the right to not only judge him, but to tell other people about his intentions. Chances are… you are wrong.
Perhaps you think that healing happens for everyone else, but not for you. Chances are… you are wrong.
I’m not saying that you are never right about the intentions of other people. There are times that God speaks truth to you regarding people and situations. But just because that has happened before—maybe even multiple times—it doesn’t mean you are always going to be correct. Especially, if you aren’t being prayerful in the moment.
We have to remember that we experience all things (not excluding when we use our spiritual gifts) through our own lens of life experiences—including past trauma.
Only God knows the full Truth of the bigger picture.
He will show you the pieces you need when you need them—if you are in a place to receive them and act upon the knowledge and counsel He gives you.
If you are all caught up in your own life and your own perceptions, see the dose of enlightenment below. It will help you begin to see the BIG picture with an eternal perspective.
Love from Jac

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotion is: missing the big picture
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how missing the big picture applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 129 + 871 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “one-twenty-nine plus eight-seventy-one equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
