Divine Discontent

Jac: Reverend Elizabeth Rowley wrote: “Divine discontent is a restless dissatisfaction of what is. It occurs when you are not living according to the deepest longing of your soul in some, or multiple areas of your life.

“Perhaps you are under employed, or in a relationship that does not make your heart sing. In which ever area of life you are not living out your fullest potential, the result is divine discontent.

“It’s divine because when you have discontent with what is, it eventually leads to transformation, and the unfoldment of your greater good that is yet to be.”

Jeri: Have you ever experienced a dissatisfaction of what is?

Jac: I find it very dissatisfying when I’m unable to work through things as quickly as I would like to, because time feels so limited.

Jeri: How do you cope with that discontent?

Jac: I have to remind myself that God is in charge… and since I am only one human, I can only do so much. And on the flip side, I realize that I could refine my schedule to be more effective in certain areas—I’m constantly trying to find what works best for me.

What do you do when you feel discontented?

Jeri: I have to step back, take a fresh look, and set new goals. I now recognize that any time there is transformation involved, it is uncomfortable… because it’s moving me to a higher vibration—or a greater good.

Jac: That reminds me of the video you sent me the other day. I liked that he always keeps in mind that no matter what happens, a Higher energy is trying to do something. And truly, I do believe that God is always working for our highest good.

Here is the link if you are interested in that video:

Jeri: For a six or seven-minute video, it is definitely a good one.

Jac: When we understand that everything can be turned into a positive by shifting our perspective, we have a lot of hope in moving forward.

Yet discontent keeps us stuck in a low vibration.

Jeri: Transforming our vibration is definitely key in overcoming dissatisfaction—or any negative emotion.

If you are ready to open up that higher energy, see the dose of enlightenment below.

With love,

Jeri and Jac

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!

This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.

If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.

*******************************************************

Today’s emotion is: discontented

How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how discontented applies to you.

Dose of Enlightenment: 156 + 844 = E

Say it out loud with intent: “one-fifty-six plus eight-forty-four equals enlightenment.”

Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
