Jac: She told me to stop, but I didn’t know what she was talking about. So asked her to clarify.
She told me to stop playing with my ring while I was talking. I hadn’t realized I had been doing that—I’ve always been fidgety… I’ve never been one to sit still.
Most people are surprised by that, because they usually seem to notice my calm demeanor as dominant and so they often miss the energy that abounds under the surface.
Anyway… she just wanted to see if I could talk to her without playing with my ring, so I handed it to her… We discovered that—no, I couldn’t have a conversation with her and hold still at the same time. My thoughts seemed frozen without physical movement.
So without my ring, I found a different way to fidget and move to carry on the conversation.
Jeri: That is so interesting—because as your mom, I’ve never thought of you as fidgety. Now I will have to pay attention! Hahaha!
Did you know that being unable to sit still has to do with boredom and stress? It’s also associated with discomfort and/or restlessness. I get really fidgety after sitting through a long conference or lecture.
I think the wiggles helps in being more alert. Have you found that to be the case?
Jac: I think so. I know that when I start getting tired, I tend to get more and more restless… so I do tend to move around more to keep myself awake. But that’s also when I probably should just let myself wind down and go to sleep.
Jeri: That is a good idea. I have found that when I’m especially restless during the day, listening to music or sitting down and playing the piano helps calm me. At night, essential oils are especially beneficial in helping me to wind down.
Do you have any tips to share?
Jac: I would add that putting away electronics is probably the best way to truly wind down. I think all they do is keep you wired until you’re too exhausted to function. And that’s not always helpful to getting a good night’s rest.
Jeri: That is so true. I like to exchange my electronics for a good book.
Friends, we hope you find these suggestions helpful. If you can’t sit still and are ready to turn your restlessness into relaxation, say the dose of enlightenment below.
Love from Jeri and Jac

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotion is: can't sit still
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how can't sit still applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 169 + 831 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “one-sixty-nine plus eight-thirty-one equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
