Jeri: In this world, we have been conditioned to believe that you have to be sexy to be loved. You see it in men and in women. You have look a certain way, act a certain way, dress a certain way…
Sex sells everything from sports equipment to cat food, and prescription medication to socks.
You have to have a hot body—
Jac: And a boob job—
Jeri: Or a face lift!
Jac: We definitely live in interesting times. I remember when we taught an introduction to foot zoning class and one of the attendees came up to us afterward to tell us that she had just received an answer to her prayers—and she knew she needed to sign up for our next certification class.
But she never registered. We never heard another word from her about taking the classes.
I found out later that—after being in a pageant environment for a few weeks—she had decided to get breast implants instead.
I felt sad that she didn't know she was already beautiful the way God created her... That she didn't know she was already enough... And that she had lost sight of—what just weeks before—had felt like her true purpose... helping people heal.
Jeri: I don’t want to come across as judgmental, because that is definitely not our intent, but I feel like there are so many worldly things that make us feel like we have to be sexy.
This keeps us from embracing our true beauty—a beauty that radiates from inside of us, that gives us confidence and helps us love ourselves for who we truly are.
It’s a knowing that there is something greater inside of us—a depth of individuality that is the real reason people are attracted to us and love us.
Jac: That is well said. Trying to fix what we see on the outside, cannot repair what’s happening on the inside. To create true positive changes, we have to learn to love and accept ourselves—all of ourselves.
We can’t let anyone truly love us, if we don’t first love ourselves.
Jeri: So true. I have actually cleared today’s emotion 2 or 3 times. It has been freeing for me. I still like to look nice, but I’m not so wrapped up in how other people see me.
If you're ready to better learn how to love and accept your true self, see the dose of enlightenment below.
Love from Jeri and Jac

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotion is: belief that you have to be sexy to be loved
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how belief that you have to be sexy to be loved applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 61 + 939 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “sixty-one plus nine-thirty-nine equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
