Life as I knew it changed drastically when my baby sister was born. The world no longer revolved around me… a replacement had been delivered to my family.
She was adorable and my older sisters were so excited for a new baby. I, on the other hand, did not like her. My mom no longer had time for me, she was too busy with the baby to even tuck me into bed.
I was devastated and acted out and cried. That only got me into trouble and my dad put me outside on the front porch to cry it out. I could come back in the house when I was ready to be good—to be quiet.
As a highly emotional child, I grew up believing that emotions were bad, unwelcome, and would just cause trouble.
Every time I felt sad or angry, I would force myself to control those feelings by burying them deep inside where no one would know. This action promoted self-hatred and a rejection of my true self.
If you can identify with my story, you have probably already figured out that rejecting yourself and your feelings through suppressing your emotions has consequences.
Suppressed emotions can intensify and manifest in unexpected ways, leading to anger, anxiety or depression. You may find yourself suffering from physical and/or mental health challenges such as digestive issues, headaches, exhaustion, chronic depression or personality disorders.
Rejecting yourself can also make it difficult to express and manage your emotions, which can lead to difficult and strained relationships with family and friends. If you are unable to love yourself, it is extremely difficult to love and accept others.
Consistently and prayerfully using doses of enlightenment, found in M: Collaborations with the Divine Doctor, will help you overcome the emotional rejection you have towards yourself.
It will help you acknowledge and validate your emotions by allowing yourself to feel the emotions without judgment or resistance.
Practicing what you learn through emotional release will help you develop healthy coping mechanisms to manage what you’ve been feeling.
Raising your vibratory frequency by saying the doses of enlightenment regularly, will bring you to a place of healing, happiness and joy.
Before long, you will notice that it is okay to love yourself and that it is okay to feel and express your emotions. That, my friend, is a healthy and necessary part of life.
Say the dose of enlightenment below.
With love,
Jeri

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotions are: rejecting self
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how rejecting self applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 71 + 929 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “seventy-one plus nine-twenty-nine equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
