Every single week, he would enter my classroom, try to take over my lesson, and then criticize me when the class was over.

I’ve often been mistaken for looking quite a bit younger than I am, plus I am single. So he had decided that I was incompetent as a Sunday School teacher.

He didn’t know I had been teaching in my professional life for several years already. 

He didn’t know that the students loved me and participated well.

He didn’t know that each time he entered the room, the students would all shut down and didn’t want to participate in the lesson anymore.

He didn’t know I’d already served in several teaching callings for my church, and had served in multiple presidencies. 

He didn’t know anything about me (because he never cared to ask). But he treated me like an inept little girl.

I finally requested a teaching partner and then he left me alone.
