Never Ending Worry

“Be sure to call me when you get back to Idaho so I will know you made it home safely.”

It was a 6-hour drive. I knew if we didn’t call as soon as we walked in the door, Grandma Bea wouldn’t be able to sit still or fall asleep. She fretted about everything and everyone.

Both of my sweet grandmothers were big worriers. When they were living, life was moving at a much slower pace.

In today’s fast paced world there are so many more things to fret about. We worry about our children and what they will be confronted with, we fret about our future, financial issues, health challenges and political unrest.

At times, these concerns can leave you feeling unsettled and expecting the worst. They can take a toll on your emotional and physical health and you may even find yourself acting out negatively towards others because of the stress and anxiety you are experiencing.

If you worry too much you may also find that you are exhausted and unable to focus… you can’t seem to get a good night’s rest because your mind won’t be quiet… you may experience muscle tension and pain in your body because you are unable to relax… or, you might find yourself scrolling or self-medicating in order to distract yourself from your fears.

My #1 tip to stop fretting is to use doses of enlightenment to uncover and identify the roots and boulders of the issue(s).

As you say the dose in order to clear your worries, imagine giving them to your Savior.

He knows the beginning from the end. He is in charge of this vast universe and He knows exactly what you are going through. Let things go and allow Him to do His job. Afterall, He is much better at it than you are!

Pray and ask Heavenly Father to take your burdens and worries from you. Let Him know that those worries are no longer serving you and that you are ready to part with them. See the dose of enlightenment below.

You’ve got this!

With love,

 Jeri

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!

This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.

If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.

*******************************************************

Today’s emotions are: constantly fretting

How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how constantly fretting applies to you.

Dose of Enlightenment: 78 + 922 = E

Say it out loud with intent: “seventy-eight plus nine-twenty-two equals enlightenment.”

Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
