Jeri: A few days ago I sent my husband a video about the Ezra’s Eagle prophecy from the Apocrypha. I was so excited and hoped that he would enjoy it as much as I did so that we could have a conversation regarding it.
He told me he watched it. And I said, “Isn’t it so interesting?” His response wasn’t what I was hoping for. He was angry and I felt like he was attacking me. What the heck!?!
In a display of weakness, I lost my cool and instead of asking why he felt the way he did, I lashed out at him. Instead of allowing myself to feel sad and vulnerable, I went straight to anger.
Jac: That’s not fun! I don’t enjoy when my weaknesses pop up and take over. Were you able to repair the situation?
Jeri: Yes, but I had to stew on it for a bit and write some pages and spend a lot of time praying for humility. The next day we were able to talk and work things out. Thankfully, he has the ability to forgive and forget quickly—a gift I wish I had.
In talking to him, I was able to express myself in a vulnerable way and let him know how it felt when he responded the way he did. I explained why I found the video so interesting and then asked him why it offended him. His excuse didn’t really make any sense and I was able to reason with him in a way that he was able to understand. We both felt better about things after we talked.
Jac: We all have to go through the forgiveness process in our own way—and I think it’s different for each person and each situation. And it sounds like you did what you needed to do—you tapped into your strength that’s on the flip side of that weakness.
All weaknesses have a strength on the other end of the spectrum.
If you need help transforming a weakness into a strength, see the dose of enlightenment below.

Today’s emotion is: display of weakness
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how display of weakness applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 110 + 890 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “one-ten plus eight-ninety equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
