Jac: There are so many ways to live in creative energy. It makes me sad to hear so many people tell me that they aren’t creative, but I think that’s only because they are comparing themselves to what other people are doing.
When you compare your own unique creativity to someone else’s own unique creativity, you are prone to thinking that you are less than… and others are better than.
How do you embrace your own unique creativity?
Jeri: I love this and it rings true to me. I’ve often said that comparison kills—no matter what we are comparing ourselves to. Everyone is good at something that they can do better than someone else. Yet, there is also someone out there who can do something better than that person.
I have found when I find something I love, that I want to do well, it takes time and practice to get good at it.
I think it is important to find your niche and do what you love, then work hard at becoming expert at it. You don’t have to be the absolute best as long as you are doing your best and loving what you do.
Jac: That’s so true. I feel like—when you are feeling NOT creative—if you were to dig deep down, you would discover that it’s not even a fear of failing or a fear of not being the best that holds you back… but the fear of success… and the fear of being great… is what holds you back. Because “where much is given, much is required.”
There’s a quote from Marianne Williamson that sums it all up very nicely:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
"We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'
"Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
"We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
"And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I think that we are a little terrified of our true selves and what we could create when truly partnered with God. What are your thoughts on that?
Jeri: This is one of my favorite quotes. I agree that it is easy to fear what you can really become. It’s time to release that fear, recognize the glory of God that is within you and embrace your brilliance. Say the dose of enlightenment to get started.
Love, from Jeri and Jac

Today’s emotion is: lack of creativity
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how lack of creativity applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 96 + 904 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “ninety-six plus nine-zero-four equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
