Rocky Road

I used to be angry at men. I honestly hadn’t realized it until my mom called me out on it in my late teens/early twenties. She had noticed that I had been treating my dad and my brother-in-law poorly for quite some time.

I really had to open my eyes to see it… then I began to notice my feelings toward all men weren’t too warm and fuzzy.

This was before I knew anything about natural healing and clearing emotions, but I remember pondering why I was struggling with men in this way. I couldn’t really see a real reason for it.

I thought back to childhood… back when I went everywhere with my dad. I loved going with him to run errands—I spent time with him every chance I could get.

I remember many trips to lumber stores and hardware stores, stopping at the gas station to grab a rocky road candy bar, and helping him with all of his projects: fixing cars, building things, fixing up things around the house, etc.

When I was in fourth grade, my dad went back to school. Gone were the days of spending quality time with him. He was so busy with work and school, that he just didn’t have time for me like he did before.

I had never consciously recognized—until then—that I had felt abandoned by my dad, which had caused feelings of sadness and anger.

However, because I didn’t allow myself to feel my emotions as a child (some of you already know that story), those feelings built up inside and kept getting buried deeper and deeper.

Over time, my anger had hardened and I began to take it out on my dad and my brother-in-law.

I’m grateful my mom brought my behavior to my attention, so that I could dig into the why and change my ways.

I’m grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ that helps us overcome those kinds of things, and so many others.

If you have anger built up that has hardened over time, and you find yourself taking it out on other people, there is a dose of enlightenment below.

Love from Jac

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!

This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.

If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.

*******************************************************

Today’s emotion is: hardened anger

How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how hardened anger applies to you.

Dose of Enlightenment: 110 + 890 = E

Say it out loud with intent: “one-ten plus eight-ninety equals enlightenment.”

Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
