He almost died due to getting sepsis after a botched surgery and spent 5½ weeks on life support in ICU. Back at home, Charlie still had a g-tube and a j-tube inserted in his body and we were headed to see the assistant surgeon, Dr. Smith (name has been changed), to have them removed. 

Our youngest son, Cameron, was on leave from the Marine Corp. He was so concerned about his dad and I was grateful that he was able to go to the appointment with us—I needed his strength.

The tubes were successfully removed, and then Dr. Smith spent some time talking to us. I will forever remember his words because they are seared in my memory… “Frankly, Mr. Taylor, there isn’t another doctor that will ever want to touch you again.” No one ever wants to hear those words… ever.

The doctor's reply affected Cam the most, and he did his best to keep his cool. He really wanted to react and inflict some violence on the doctor by punching him. Instead, he stepped outside, paced around a bit and flexed his strong hands into angry fists—mostly out of fear of losing his dad.

Although at the time, the doctor’s words didn’t seem like a blessing… ultimately, they were because we needed to be prepared to look at Charlie’s health differently and look at options outside of the box—which is why Jac and I do what we do in the natural healing world, and why we want to help others do the same. It has increased our faith exponentially. 

When you hear those word’s you don’t want to hear, it is so important that you take some time to process and feel all the emotions that come with the news.

You may find yourself in shock for a time and it will seem like your brain doesn’t want to function. You will feel dumbfounded because you don’t know what the heck to do or where to turn. You may feel like you are in a place of hopelessness or helplessness.

This is the time to turn to your Father in Heaven and ask Him to bless you with the strength, peace and comfort to survive the difficult adversity you are facing. He will guide and direct you to exactly what you need. Even though you may feel like you are all alone, He is there for you.

For all of those times you have heard something you didn’t want to hear, there is a dose of enlightenment below to assist you in releasing those very difficult memories from the cells of your body.

Go ahead and say it… breathe it in… and let the vibration wash over you.
