My sweet neighbor’s baby had failure to thrive. She was worried and reached out on social media for help.
Because of my unconventional background in nutrition, I tend to look at things out of the box. A few weeks before, I had made a recommendation to a lady whose baby was dealing with the same issue.
That woman reported back to me that her little boy had experienced dramatic results in a matter of just a few days.
I quickly decided to comment the same suggestion to my neighbor, in hopes that it would help her little one.
Within the hour I was attacked by my neighbor’s husband and his cousin. They informed me that I didn’t know what I was talking about and that the baby could die if they followed my suggestion.
The assault was swift and rather brutal. I felt like I had been kicked in the gut and was shocked at how rude and disrespectful the husband was. It made me feel so angry towards him and his cousin who had started the attack. I hated the way they made me feel—and the unjustness of the situation.
I stewed… and stewed… and stewed. I couldn’t stand to look at him. I felt so betrayed. He could have commented that he appreciated everyone’s helpful comments, and left it at that… but no, he had to jump in and contribute to the shame his cousin had already heaped on me.
I’m not gonna lie… it took me a long while to forgive them. Just looking out my window and seeing his house would open up those wounds all over again. I didn’t like how I was feeling regarding the incident.
He probably didn’t think another thing about it… but it was tearing me up inside. I needed to forgive him for my own well-being.
The desire to forgive was strong in my heart and as I sought divine intervention through prayer, I was taught by the spirit what I needed to do…
I drew a picture of my neighbor’s husband and his cousin, along with all of the fat, ugliness I saw in them and the situation. (I looked up her picture online so I would have a visual.)
When I finished putting all of my emotions and feelings into that atrociously ugly drawing, all of the pain, shame, and anger towards them was gone. Just like that… I was able to forgive them and let it go.
If you have been resisting forgiving someone, I feel your pain. It can be so difficult at times. Please understand that forgiveness heals. It heals your heart, your body and your spirit… it sets you free. Try the picture exercise above and then say the dose of enlightenment below. It is okay to let go.
With love,
Jeri

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotions are: refusing to forgive
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how refusing to forgive applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 119 + 881 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “one-nineteen plus eight-eighty-one equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
