Jac: We’ve all had times in our lives when we feel like we have way too much on our plate. It’s exhausting, and it can leave us feeling like we’re spinning our wheels.
In fact, it seems like most of us live that way almost constantly these days. Have you ever ended a day wondering if you got anything meaningful done?
Jeri: I sure have.
Jac: Do you have any tips to help those of us who have too much going on?
Jeri: I do. When life is overcrowded and we are feeling overwhelmed, setting goals for each day and for the week helps. Having rituals set for each morning and night is super helpful.
Jac: What are some of the things you do for your morning and nightly rituals?
Jeri: In the morning, I love to pray, study my scriptures, and do prayer journaling. My nighttime rituals are drinking nettle tea and making sure I get enough sleep at night.
Jac: Any other tips?
Jeri: I also feel like we all need to make sure we are taking time to fill our own bucket—by doing something we love each day.
All of the things I mentioned really help us to be more productive, rather than just busy. And the morning and nightly rituals also help us stay grounded and balanced.
Jac: I love that. Because honestly, being busy gets us nowhere—except for overwhelmed. However, setting goals keeps us working toward those things that are most important.
I think it’s vital that we are aware of our limits, recognize it’s ok to say no to some things, and know that it’s ok to put ourselves first—like you mentioned—to fill our own bucket. Otherwise, we don’t have much to give because we are running on empty.
Jeri: I've noticed that really is a big deal for you. I love that you make sure to fill your bucket.
Jac: It’s necessary for me. I’ve found that it makes me happier, helps me stay sane, and keeps the overwhelm at bay… which, in turn, it helps me be a better person all around. I do better work and I’m more present for my loved ones.
Jeri: Awesome. Let’s make sure our busy days don’t steal our joy.
Jac: Yes! Because life’s too precious to be stuck spinning our wheels while running on empty.
Jeri: Ready to clear the chaos and invite balance into your day? Try our Dose of Enlightenment below.

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotion is: life is overcrowded—too much going on
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how life is overcrowded—too much going on applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 87 + 913 = E
Say it out loud with intent: “eighty-seven plus nine-thirteen equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
