I was shocked when she told me about her childhood in Peru. Gabriela was the youngest of 5 children (name has been changed). Her mother was a single mom when she met Gabi’s dad.
Gabi never knew him. He returned to his country of origin and died shortly thereafter.
Because the family was poor, there was no one to take care of little Gabi.
When her mom would leave for work, Gabi’s young siblings would lock her in a room, as instructed by their mom, with food and a baby bottle.
That is where she would stay until her brother’s and sister returned from school. This happened from the time she was an infant, until she was able to attend school.
I asked if she felt that this experience had a negative effect on her.
She looked at me, bewildered, and said, “No, I don’t think so”.
Knowing her as an adult, her behavior is heart-breaking. She overtly tries to control everyone and everything in her path. If anyone dares to disagree, she erupts in anger.
She belittles and blames others, breaks things, tries to turn people against each other, and has been violent on occasion.
Although I am not a therapist or doctor, in my mind, this is a classic case of repressed emotions from childhood. The tiny child is still scared from being left alone and is acting out in anger.
Most of us have some childhood trauma or distress that affects our adult behavior. When we were little, we didn’t have the words or strength to address what happened to us.
As an adult, we can help give that little one protection and a voice.
Digging deep and addressing your little self, will help you heal from your repressed emotions so you can release those undesirable emotions that manifest as anger or fear.
Ask your little self questions that are specific to things that happened in your childhood. Then write the answer from your little self with your non-dominant hand. If you are right-handed, write with your left hand.
The questions can be as simple as, “How do you feel about dad?”
Follow the spirit on this.
When you are done, see the Dose of Enlightenment below. You will be surprised what your inner child can teach you. Happy healing.
With love,
Jeri

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!
This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.
If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.
*******************************************************
Today’s emotion is: repressed emotions, especially fear or anger
How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how repressed emotions, especially fear or anger applies to you.
Dose of Enlightenment: 108 + 892 = E
Say it out loud with intent: "one-zero-eight plus eight-ninety-two equals enlightenment.”
Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
