What If Healing Isn’t About Doing More?

Jac: Jenny (name has been changed) came into the session demanding a massive overhaul—not verbally, of course. But her energy wanted to be in complete control of her healing—and she wanted to clear all of the things—NOW.

I’ve seen this so many times—not just in others—but  in myself too.

There’s this part of us that wants to heal so badly that we try to force it. We push for as much healing as possible into a single hour, day, week, year, or decade.

And if things don’t shift fast enough, we feel like we have to double down and do even more.

Jeri: I’ve been there. I remember times when I felt like I had to “earn” my healing. If I just prayed enough, cleared enough, tried hard enough—it would finally click.

But healing doesn’t happen in that kind of a power struggle. It’s not about how many tools you use or how many emotions you clear. It’s about surrendering to the One who knows your heart even better than you do.

Jac: Yes! How different would it feel to trust God to lead your path to healing? Thankfully, Jenny was willing to let go of control that day. And once she did, everything slowed down—and not in a bad way.

Her shifts felt deeper. More powerful. More profound.

Jeri: That’s amazing. So many times, we get caught up in “doing” too much in our healing process—we get desperate and feel a deep need to control the outcomes and get results.

Sometimes, what we really need is to “be still and know that [He] is God.”

Jac: Amen! Exactly that. Let God be God. Trust Him to heal you and guide you—in His time and in His way.

If you’ve been doing too much… trying too hard… this is your reminder to stop. Breathe. Surrender your healing to Him.

Love from Jeri and Jac

PS He is not waiting for you to prove yourself. That’s not how He works. He’s ready the second you let Him in.

Since we promised to treat you to an extra dose of light in your inbox, we include a Dose of Enlightenment for you at the end of each newsletter. We value your agency, so it’s up to you whether or not you receive it!

This Dose of Enlightenment is a frequency equation meant to clear a hidden and trapped emotion that you’ve been holding onto.

If today's emotion is one that we have already cleared, know that we are addressing a different layer or situation this time.

*******************************************************

Today’s emotion is: overpowering need for control

How does this emotion apply to you? For best results, ponder this question and identify how overpowering need for control applies to you.

Dose of Enlightenment: 65 + 935 = E

Say it out loud with intent: “sixty-five plus nine-thirty-five equals enlightenment.”

Breathe. Let it go. Feel the shift. Allow your body to be filled with light.
